Direct answer

A Forever Fierce preorder webstore is a private online store for one gym apparel drop. Members buy during a short preorder window, then Forever Fierce prints, packs, ships, and sends the gym its profit.

01

Private link

Once the design, garments, and pricing are approved, we create a private webstore link for your gym's items. It is separate from other gyms' designs.

02

Payments handled

Members pay through the store. Forever Fierce keeps the order records, collects payments, and sends your profit after the order ships.

03

You promote

Your job is to promote the link while it is active. The store has checkout, payment options, countdown urgency, and abandoned-cart recovery built in.

Why Preorder

Why not just use print-on-demand?

If members cannot answer one question, they usually do not buy: why do I need to buy this right now? Preorder gives the drop a reason to exist today. Print-on-demand usually removes that reason.

The conversion problem

A store full of cool merch is not enough. Members need urgency, a deadline, a special drop, or an incentive that makes them decide now instead of vaguely planning to order later.

Preorder creates a decision point

The store opens, the deadline is clear, and members know the apparel is tied to this drop. If they want it, they need to act before the window closes. That urgency is why a 7-day preorder window consistently beats a passive store for most custom gym merch.

Print-on-demand makes it easy to wait

An always-open store sounds convenient, but convenience is not the same as conversion. When members can order whenever they want, most do exactly that: they wait, forget, and never make the purchase.

Question Preorder store Print-on-demand store
Why buy now? Because the store closes on a real deadline. No clear reason. The store is always there.
What drives action? Deadline, limited drop, samples, launch reminders, and final-day urgency. Passive browsing and occasional reminders.
How does production work? Orders are batched after the store closes, which supports better custom decoration economics. Items are produced one at a time, which is convenient but usually weaker for custom event-style drops.
Best use Seasonal drops, Memorial Day/Murph, anniversaries, hoodies, events, and limited community merch. Simple evergreen basics that do not need urgency.

Print-on-demand can have a place for evergreen basics. But if the goal is to drive real participation on a custom gym apparel drop, the preorder model gives members the reason to act.

The Process

How does a gym preorder store work?

The model is preorder-first. We do not print before demand exists. We collect paid orders over a short window, close the store, batch production, then fulfill exactly what was ordered plus any extra inventory you choose to add.

Step 1

Design and garment approval

You approve the design, garments, and retail pricing before launch. We also send sizing samples when possible because members are more likely to buy when they can touch and try the blanks.

Step 2

Private store setup

Forever Fierce builds the product link, payment setup, product images, sizes, and checkout flow. The store can support Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and card payments.

Step 3

Seven-day promotion window

We recommend a 7-day preorder window and do not recommend exceeding 10 days. Short windows create urgency and keep promotion focused.

Step 4

Production after the store closes

After the preorder closes, we compile the paid orders and print everything together. Standard screen-printed turnaround is about 10 business days after the order is finalized.

Step 5

Fulfillment and profit payout

Customers can choose direct shipping or local pickup. Once the order ships and your payout paperwork is complete, we send your profit by paper check or PayPal.

The simple version: You approve. Forever Fierce executes. Your members buy. You collect the profit.

Pricing and Profit

How does profit work?

Before a store goes live, Forever Fierce gives you cost and suggested retail pricing. You control the selling price. Your profit is the difference between the retail price your members pay and your cost per item.

Example Retail price Your cost Your profit
35-shirt preorder $29.99 per shirt $15.99 per shirt $14.00 per shirt, before any agreed shipping or extras
100-shirt preorder $25.00 per shirt $15.00 per shirt $1,000 total profit at $10 per shirt

Example pricing is for explanation only. Actual costs vary by garment, decoration method, print complexity, and quantity tier. We give you pricing before the store launches so there is no surprise bill at the end.

Minimums and Extras

What is the minimum order?

The minimum is 24 pieces per design. That can include multiple garment styles as long as the design stays the same.

What counts toward 24?

One design can be split across tees, tanks, crops, or similar garment styles. For example, 10 tees plus 14 tanks gets you to 24 pieces if the same design is used.

What if the store lands short?

  • Option 1: Order the difference as extra inventory at your wholesale cost.
  • Option 2: Print under 24 pieces with a $6 per-item cost increase.

Ordering a few extras is often smart. Stragglers happen, and extra inventory can cover late buyers, misprints, or members who missed the deadline.

Shipping and Pickup

How do members receive their order?

Forever Fierce webstores can support direct shipping, local pickup, or both. The cleanest option for most gyms is local pickup because everything arrives together and can be handed out at the gym.

Direct shipping

Members who want their order shipped to their home can select shipping at checkout and pay postage directly. That postage does not come out of the gym's apparel profit.

Local pickup

Members who choose local pickup have their items shipped together to the gym or another central location. Bulk shipping is billed separately and is usually lowest on lightweight items like tees and tanks.

If your gym does not have a physical pickup location, direct shipping is usually the cleaner choice. Customers should choose the correct option at checkout to avoid postage and pickup confusion.

Clear Expectations

What should members know before ordering?

Preorder stores work because every item is made after the sale. That keeps inventory risk low, but it also means the rules need to be clear before members purchase.

Sales are final

Preorder items are made after purchase, so Forever Fierce does not exchange sizes or refund for preference issues. We replace damaged, defective, or lost-in-transit items.

Samples matter

Sizing samples reduce avoidable issues. If samples have not arrived before launch, tell us before the store opens so members can make better sizing decisions.

Reports are available

If you want a sales update while the store is live, ask us. We can run a report showing order volume and customer names so you know where the drop stands.

Best Fit

Who should use a preorder webstore?

Preorder webstores are best for gyms with a real community, a clear deadline, and an owner or staff member willing to promote the link for one focused week.

Good fit

  • Gyms that want custom apparel without buying inventory first.
  • Owners willing to promote a link in class, by email, and on social for 7 days.
  • Communities that can realistically reach 24 pieces per design.
  • Gyms planning seasonal, event, anniversary, Memorial Day, or hoodie drops.

Not the right fit

  • Stores where nobody will promote the link.
  • Drops with too many designs competing for the same buyers.
  • Programs expecting print-on-demand behavior with no deadline.
  • Orders where the gym is not comfortable committing to the 24-piece minimum path.

The preorder window is not a product listing. It is a seven-day marketing sprint.

FAQ

Preorder webstore questions

These are the questions gym owners should understand before sending a Forever Fierce preorder link to members.

Is Forever Fierce print-on-demand?

No. Forever Fierce preorder webstores collect paid orders over a short window, then production is batched after the store closes. This gives gyms better urgency, cleaner production, and stronger economics than a passive always-open store for most custom drops.

Why does preorder usually beat print-on-demand for gym merch?

Because preorder answers the question every member needs answered: why do I need to buy this right now? Forever Fierce uses a clear deadline, a focused drop, samples, reminders, and urgency to create a decision point. An always-open print-on-demand store usually gives members permission to wait.

How long should my preorder store stay open?

Forever Fierce recommends 7 days. We do not recommend exceeding 10 days. Longer windows usually reduce urgency and make the gym owner feel like they are repeating themselves without a clear deadline.

Can I choose my own selling price?

Yes. Forever Fierce gives cost and suggested retail pricing, but the gym can choose the final retail price. We recommend pricing that protects a healthy margin without making the shirt feel inflated.

When do I receive my profit?

Forever Fierce sends profit after the order ships and required payout paperwork is complete. Paper checks are mailed and usually arrive within 7-10 days. PayPal can be arranged when faster payment is needed.

Do I need a W-9?

Yes. Forever Fierce can only issue profit payments after receiving a dated and signed W-9. This is a payout requirement, not an apparel requirement.

What happens if a customer orders the wrong size?

Forever Fierce preorder sales are final for sizing and preference issues. That is why samples are important before launch. Forever Fierce replaces damaged, defective, or lost-in-transit items.

Can I see who ordered while the store is active?

Yes. Contact Forever Fierce at any point during the preorder window and we can run an order report for you.
